Went to the Kinsley Trap Club on Sunday to shoot. We have a shoot the last Sunday of every month there. I shot fairly well with scores of 24, 22, 22, and 22. This was good enough to tie for first in the purse (money). All in all not too bad for me to shoot 90. The weather was cloudy but calm and it did sprinkle a little on us. But we did get all the shooting in anyways and it was clearing up by the time we finished up. All for now.

Shot trap last night at the Kinsley Trap Club. They set up the 5 stand game but I hadn't brought my Remington 58 so I couldn't shoot it. You see you need to be able to shoot at least two shots for the game since it involves shooting a pair of targets and my trap gun is just a single barrel. I was so bugged but still had lots of fun just shooting trap. Shot 5 rounds and averaged 23 at the 16 yard line and 22 at the 20 yard line. Not bad for me really.

My garden was a disaster this year. My shallow well went dry late last season so I had to rely on mother nature completely this year. But I did manage to grow some peppers in some big containers irregardless.

It's rained like 5 inches in the last week here. Everything is so soaked. The fall league at the Kinsley Trap Club will be starting soon. It was so hot that I haven't been shooting too much lately but did manage to get down to the club this past week. Didn't shoot too bad but felt a little rusty. Met a real nice gal from China lately. Too bad she has to go back to her school soon. I will really miss her.
